Leadership Prince William Board of Regents is pleased to announce Virginia Commerce Bank will serve as Direction Sponsor 2011. The announcement was made recently during Leadership Prince William’s Board of Regents meeting. Jim DiModica, Co-Chair of the Board of Regents said “I am proud Virginia Commerce Bank has stepped forward with their generous sponsorship”. Molly Grove, Co-Chair of the Board of Regents echoed his remarks adding, “Virginia Commerce Bank is committed to fostering and building leaders in our communities.”

Launched in 2007, Leadership Prince is aimed at creating a network of leaders who have a clear understanding of the total Prince William community and are committed to its advancement. Each year, approximately 30 people are selected to participate in the program, which begins in September and ends in June the following year. During the 10-month program, participants receive in-depth education on critical issues in the community including criminal justice, education, government as well as a history of the area, health care, and human services. Vision Partner is the Prince William Chamber of Commerce. Foundation Partners include George Mason University, Dominion Virginia and Micron Technology.
