Excitement and Intensity
The nine-month Leadership Prince William course begins in September with an overnight retreat then continues with daylong sessions through May. The sessions are held at locations throughout the Prince William area.
The skills imparted during this intensive program will help launch graduates into new civic and business opportunities and will create a positive force for change in the community into the 21st century. Each session is designed to stimulate, challenge, educate and inform.
You will be poised to assume an active lead role in our Prince William community and contribute to future Leadership Prince William programs.

OPENING RETREAT
Our two-day kick-off session presents a combination of discussions and participative activities designed to motivate and stimulate participants. The retreat is overnight and will take place on a Thursday - Friday. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice teambuilding, get to know the other participants and to experience first- hand, the benefits of the program. The days will include meals, and break time.
DAY SESSIONS
During each session, participants are introduced to issues through panel and group discussions, tours and simulations. Participants will enjoy increasing their knowledge through active dialogue. Running from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the day sessions include breakfast, a noon meal and morning and afternoon break time.
A note on attendance
Participation in the opening retreat is mandatory and attendance at all sessions is critical. Participants not adhering to the attendance requirements may be asked to withdraw from the program. |
